Managed inventory for stores in the middle part of the U.S. These responsibilities included cost control, logistics, demand planing involvement, at risk product control, training and development of District Leadership.Worked with distribution centers and delivery distribution centers for seamless operations between logistics, DC's and stores.Reduced product costs over 1% each year to increase overall profit margins on goods.

Oversaw such things as merchandising, labor management, sales, loss prevention and cost control for 17 stores in the Colorado and New Mexico market.Had 17 direct reports that I developed, 7 of which went on to be successful General Managers and District Managers. Earned two District Manager of the year awards for the top performing district in revenue growth and overall performance.

Colorado Springs, Colorado Area

Top performing GM with over 100 direct reports. Responsible for the overall growth of the store, including sales growth, profit growth, people development and cost control.Won 4 store of the month awards in one year for being the top performer in the district. Developed two assistant managers into General Manager positions.

General Manager is charge of the day to day operations of a $85M+/Year Club. Responsibilites included people development - promoted 3 assistant managers to General Manager positions. Also included P&L Management, Merchandising, Operations and Sales.Oversaw the grocery and food service business with extensive training in this area including production scheduling for retail sales in the fresh bakery and fresh meat department.
