Report directly to the Director of Admissions.● Train, supervise, and evaluate annual performance of 3 Assistant Directors, 2 operational staff members, and 20 student employees; consult with Human Resources on hiring and compensation review;● Manage the production of approximately 1,200 immigration documents for admitted first-year and transfer international students in compliance with Federal regulations as defined by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security● Chair Admissions Committee in the review of over 8,000 applications for admission annually;● Oversee review and selection of transfer and visiting students as well as the seven-year accelerated medical and dental programs – the University’s most selective undergraduate programs of admission;● Chair Scholarship Committee in the extensive review of academic and personal credentials. Responsible for the awarding of $6 million annually in merit based awards;● Establish and maintain relationships with school counselors, embassy/consulate staff, and students via interviews, college fairs, school visits, receptions, information sessions, and correspondence;● Utilize institutional and global student data trends to provide assistance to staff in the annual development of 7 recruitment trips and more than 25 recruitment receptions;● Conduct on-going reviews to identify and streamline processes.
