I love technology. I've always been fascinated by computers, phones, wiring...and how all of technology works together to make communication and story telling even easier. Since working at Baylor University as a Film and Digital Media student, and then beginning work at Bluefish TV, I have been given the opportunity to use my passion for technology to further the gospel. Director Of Operations And Event ProductionRightnow Media May 2006 - Oct 2010Richardson, TxIn 2000, RightNow Campaign launched as a partner with Bluefish TV to help encourage 20 & 30 somethings to live our their faith in different opportunities both over seas and here in the U.S. RightNow Campaign partnered with several conference organizations including Passion with Louie Giglio, The Go Team, and musicians like Mercy Me and Shane and Shane. In these partnerships, we were given the opportunity to provice a direct path for any 20 & 30 something that was looking for opportunities to live out their faith.With our follow-up team, we have been able to connect with thousand of people that have found opportunities that fit the area that God has called them to. Our searchable database online included trips from dozens of mission organizations and sending organizations, like; SIM, YWAM, GMF, IBM, Apartment Life and many others. Eventually we began to see that holding conferences was a great way to bring Biblical encouragement to 20 & 30 somethings. We help our first conference in 2004 in Dallas with Erwin McManus, Shane and Shane, Coach Bill McCartney and many others.I was tasked with making sure all of our live production was in order for the conference. I worked with the venues/churches to make sure that the videos, cameras, lighting, stage setting, audio and video capturing was all in order and ready to go.

DirectorSmallgrouptrader.Com Aug 2008 - Oct 2010Richardson, TxIn 2008, our ministry began an intentional shift toward inspiring and encouraging small group leaders in their ability to promote the gospel in their small group settings. As more and more churches move away from the Sunday-School model and transition into the home or church-based small group format, new challenges and opportunities arise. New leaders are formed and often these leaders have difficulty finding quality resources and training so that they can be an effective small group leader. Our goal is to change the outcome of small groups through training and resourcing small group leaders as the lead small groups toward discipleship and servanthood.In late 2008, we flew to Chicago to attend the Willow Creek Group Life conference. We had the opportunity to interview about 20 different small group pastors and authors about small group ministry and the role of a leader.We interview Bill Donahue, Greg Bowmen, Dave Treat, Heather Zempel, Russ Robinson, Dave Auda, Don Everts, Carolyn Taketa, Mark Batterson and many others. With these interviews, we were able to create nearly 150 short training videos that we offered for free online at SmallGroupTrader.com. Because SmallGroupTrader.com was launched through RightNow Ministries, it made sense to bring this site under the RightNow umbrella and join forces to accomplish our mission. In 2010, the name SmallGroupTrader.com was changed to RightNowTraining.org.

As Director of Operations, I am in charge of the Information technology, website development, customer service, shipping and accounting teams.I am also in charge of managing the online e-commerce site for our downloadable videos and DVD curriculum. Through our new distribution of video illustrations and teaching videos online, we were able to provide even more access to speakers, teachers and musicians, like; Erwin McManus, David Nasser, Doug Fields, Stormy Omartian, Drs. Les and Leslie Parrott, Chris Tomlin, Dave Crowder and others. Between our direct sales efforts and online distribution, we have been able to server over 100,000 churches world wide.

Video Production/Website ManagementUniversity Ministries - Baylor University Oct 2003 - May 2006Waco, Texas AreaDuring my time as a student at Baylor University, I worked with our chaplain ministry - University Ministries. This ministry was run by the Baylor Chaplain.As part of this ministry, I ran the live production of our Chapel services. This includes making sure the video production, cameras, sound and lighting were all prepared and managed during the chapel service. I helped hire camera operators and manage their time for each service.Throughout my time working with University Ministries, we were able to work with some great speakers and teachers including; Tony Campolo, Donald Miller (Blue Like Jazz), Jim Wallis (God's Politics), Peter Engel (Saved By The Bell), Matt Chandler (The Village Church) and many others.Outside of the chapel services, I also helped manage and maintain the University Ministries website. This included making sure that all previous chapel services were archived for streaming and making sure that all future chapel services were announced and promoted with speaker information.
