Using four different IT ticket management tools, I solve IT issues for employees at a range of Buchanan's clients, including healthcare provider Commonwealth Care Alliance, Volunteers of America (non-profit), City of Guelph, Carleton University and at corporates Serena and Lily and Tridel Property. My BT duties included:• Answering clients’ IT break/fixes and requests via phone, e-mail and chat• Maintaining accurate incident tracking via four more ITSM ticketing tools• Remote support troubleshooting of desktops, laptops, mobile devices and peripherals esp. printers; network troubleshooting, esp. VPN issues • Updating drivers, installing software, fixing softphones, re/mapping drives• Resetting passwords in AD, on/offboarding support for HR.

Based in HR, I designed and developed for senior executives a diverse range of award winning employee communication deliverables (from annual reports to intranet sites) to engage employees and owners in the strategy. My high-impact communication skills enabled Deloitte to become the destination employer in its market for UK professional talent. Key tactical achievements:- Helping the firm develop the strongest employer brand of the Big Four UK firms- Winning the Accountancy Age Employer of the Year Award two years running.- Moving the firm from 12th to 9th place in the Best Companies rankings.- Increasing participation in the firm’s annual people survey by 30 percent- Increasing by 8% vacancies filled via the firm’s refer-a-friend hiring stream. - Drafting copy and creating content for intranet news stories that generated more than 6,500 unique page views (one in two people within the firm clicking-through).
