I researched and prototyped Access Control List support for the Isilon’s implementation of theHadoop Distributed File System (H​DFS)​ network protocol. In this process, I helped drive design of our internal testing framework introducing new design patterns and decreasing test verbosity. I worked closely with other teams to determine design viability and wrote up comprehensive design documents.

I developed an application for Bloomberg Terminal users to manipulate and share proportional charts of both custom data and market driven data. I also maintained and improved existing mapping tool, adding support for custom data and live updating financial information. I worked new features and bug fixes for an internal development framework designed to allow data driven transactional global state management.

I coordinated and taught a course of over 300 students. I created labs, lectures, and coordinated 15 TAs in order to ensure that the labs run smoothly. CS190 is a class geared towards introducing incoming freshmen to common unix tools and other related skills that they will need in computer science.
