I knew I wanted to be a weatherman since I was 9 years old when a huge tornado hit my town.Several decades later with 19-years of experience as an operational meteorologist, consultant, analyst, and project manager on my resume, I find myself interested in working at the intersection of climate, energy and transportation. Energy and transportation are two of the primary GHG emitters and drivers of global warming. While I don't believe we can stop climate change, I do believe we can mitigate the worst of the effects by building resiliency and adaptation into the global infrastructure. However it will take expertise from a diverse group of people and in all industries and sectors to get it done and this is where I hope to make a difference. In addition to working as a meteorological consultant, analyst and project manager, I also help students interested or graduating with a degree in meteorology prepare for the job market with writing their resume, cover letter and through mock interviews. I have many success stories at helping experienced meteorologists make it to the offer table or even change industries.
