I have been working in the printing industry for 27 years. In that time I have held the role of estimator for 16 years. Prior to that I was responsible for running flexographic printing presses. In my current role as estimator, I am responsible for providing accurate pricing in a timely fashion, reviewing existing pricing for job profitability and to ensure that jobs are being ran and produced in an efficient manner. In the past I was responsible for building pricing models using Microsoft Excel, offered support and backup to the planning department, estimated flexo and digital pressure sensitive labels, digital and offset cartons and RFID and serialization products and I also have taken part in many Lean Manufacturing initiatives.
