    Provide reseller and Level 2 technical support of all software products developed and sold by Idealpos Solutions. These products include :- Idealpos software installed on Windows-based POS terminals or desktop with underlying SQL Server and Microsoft Access databases. This software provides a POS interface and/or back office interface, and contains core sales, stock management and reporting functionality, as well as various modules available by license for such services as EFTPOS interfaces (eg. Oolio Pay, Linkly, Vault, Tyro etc.) Accounting interfaces (e.g. MYOB, Xero etc.), Gaming interfaces (eBet, MaxGaming etc.), Restaurant table ordering etc. - Idealpos mobile apps such as Pocket Pad, for restaurant table ordering and Pocket Stock for stock management.- online interfaces to e-commerce platforms such as Woocommerce.Support includes :- assisting resellers with installing, configuring or troubleshooting problems with the software, and it's interface with the mobile apps and third-party applications mentioned above, hardware devices (e.g. barcode scanners, scales and EFTPOS terminals) and other terminals (through peer-to-peer networking). - communication with resellers via e-mail or phone communication and Team Viewer access to POS terminals and desktops on site.- assisting with investigating issues escalated from Level 1 direct customer support to Level 2 support- escalating issues to the development team where necessary and working with them by providing findings from investigation, and testing bug fixes.

The Horizon LMS included a Sybase database on a HPUX Unix Server, and several client applications on Windows desktops. Many of the other library applications such as Pharos and Archivalware, used servers running Windows Server and Microsoft SQL Server databases. During my employment, Ipswich Libraries had three branches at Ipswich Central, Redbank Plains and Redbank Plaza, as well as a Mobile Library service.
