The Horizon LMS included a Sybase database on a HPUX Unix Server, and several client applications on Windows desktops. Many of the other library applications such as Pharos and Archivalware, used servers running Windows Server and Microsoft SQL Server databases. During my employment, Ipswich Libraries had three branches at Ipswich Central, Redbank Plains and Redbank Plaza, as well as a Mobile Library service. -
