An exciting time introducing the company to the US market and building it to become one of the largest in the dental implant industry.As President and CEO of Astra Tech Inc., it was exhilarating to build the company’s dental implant and urology medical device businesses in North America to a point where DENTSPLY International acquired the global business for $1.8B. As President of DENTSPLY Implants North America, it was invigorating to integrate the Astra Tech dental implant business, along with three other businesses, to also become one of the largest in the dental implant industry. As GM, APAC and Country Manager Australia & New Zealand for Nobel Biocare, it was interesting to expand market growth for the company in Australia, New Zealand, India, Japan and South East Asia.As President of Thommen Medical USA, I have P&L responsibility for growing their North American business.
