A former Ohio Court of Claims magistrate with more than 20 years of litigation experience in both the state court system and as a practicing attorney, I have represented governmental entities, elected officials, and governmental employees in all types of cases in state and federal court including complex civil rights cases and class actions. As a magistrate for the Ohio Court of Claims for the past six years, I have presided over bench trials and mediated civil cases involving tort claims against state entities as well as public records claims against governmental entities from across Ohio. Previously, I served as director of litigation and assistant prosecutor for the Franklin County Prosecutor’s office and as a staff attorney for the Franklin County Common Pleas Court.Prior to public sector work, I served as an attorney at one of the two firms that merged in 2013 to become Isaac Wiles. While there, I litigated cases in state and federal court representing individuals, small businesses, insurance companies, and governmental entities.
