In a much publicized competition the people voted that they approved of AC over DC and directly because of the demonstration and vote, Nikola Tesla was awarded the right to build a huge AC power plant at Niagara Falls which supplied power to the Northeast of the United States at a critical time in the Industrial Revolution in the world and America went on a few years later to demonstrate that industrial might in WWI and the rest is history.

Planned and Zoned the Telluride Mountain Village, incubated, zoned and financed the Telluride Airport.As part of starting from "no zoning" we created TREPAC (Telluride Regional Planning Advisory Commission) which had five members from the development community representing the five major landowners (Town of Telluride, Ski Resort, Valley Floor, West Meadows and Aldasoro) and produced the blueprint and dream of the future of Telluride which included gondola linked transportation from Town to Mountain Village; Mountain Village to Valley Floor; Valley Floor to West Meadows; West Meadows to Aldasoro; and Aldasoro to Valley Floor. It was agreed that the total build out of the Telluride Region would be 15,000 in the year 2020 and 15% would be deed restricted affordable housing with both rental and ownership opportunities for full time locals.
