I am a published author, IT professional, experienced manager, stock investor, and game programmer with a diverse set of skills that can be leveraged to tackle complex challenges. As a game programmer, I originally developed games in Cocos2d and Objective C, which I published on the Apple App Store. While not commercially successful, it was pirated, so I suppose that is something. I have since moved on to Unity and using C#, but I am considering other possibilities. I am also interested in AI and how it can be used to improve games.As an author, I have written about four books, with a mixture of fiction and nonfiction. I have several others in various states of completion. This has helped me develop skills for running long-term projects and working with cover designers, editors, and beta readers.As an IT professional, I have worked in several large and small organizations, as well as running my own computer business where I helped small businesses and retail customers resolve their computer issues. From virus removal to data recovery, I have done it all. Having helped thousands of people over the course of a decade, I can safely say I have helped with pretty much everything.As a manager of a retail operation for over a decade, I have experience in all aspects of running a business, from hiring and training to payroll and the occasional firing of employees. I have always run a business professionally, and my goal as a manager was to enable my employees to do their best at work, and increase their ability to assist the business and themselves personally. I am pleased to say sales increased every year that I was involved in the business, thanks to my unique idea of saying “Yes” to the customer.As a stock investor, I monitor the markets and have developed several strategies which have outperformed the index over the 20 years I’ve been involved in the markets. I am familiar with markets, indexes, stocks, bonds, and financial reports, and I would love to discuss it with any interested parties.I have an extremely diverse skill set, which I am always expanding as I enjoy continued learning.
