I have been working in the industrial construction industry since I was 16. I started my career as part-time shop/tool room support. I later joined Millwright Union, Local 1121, at 19. I have held the following positions over the course of my career, Millwright Apprentice, Journeyman, Foreman, General Foreman, and Project Manager. In my last role I managed a Service Department comprised of approximately 15-20 Millwrights. Together we provided industrial maintenance and repair services across New England, as well as performing new equipment installations. We serviced industries including water and wastewater treatment, industrial manufacturing, industrial baking, pharmaceutical, infrastructure, power generation, and more. Beyond managing the Service Dept, I was also responsible for all BD for Service and all and estimating and proposals for larger water/wastewater LS projects. I also managed projects for other trades including Iron Workers, Pipe Fitters, and Boilermakers, as well as a few multi-craft projects.In my current role as a Project Manager for the O'Connor Corporation I work collectively with the management team and we are responsible for all customer and union relations, all estimating and proposals, organization of tooling, equipment, and labor as well as profitability. I continue to provide top quality service to all the same industries in the region as I did in my past role. I'm looking forward to continuing to learn grow as a tradesman, a manager, a coworker, and a leader in my field as my career progresses into the next chapter.
