Act as an advocate and representative of JPI’s Culture and Guiding Principles. Promote a culture of exceptional construction quality through active engagement with Design, Asset Management, Consultants, Quality Control Specialists, and On-Site Construction Teams. Provide leadership, coaching, feedback, and information to facilitate the efficient completion of work to comply with the Quality Plan. Manage the administration of 3rd Party Consultant Contracts and Inspection Reports. Assist on-site construction teams with inspections, testing, and Quality Control related documentation. Conduct on-site Mock-Up Reviews, Box Walks, and Set the Standards Walks. Develop in depth familiarity with project specifications, drawings, and contract documents to ensure requirements are met for each construction processes. Inspect in-place work and products for compliance with JPI Quality Standards, approved Submittals, approved Specifications, Project Drawings, and governing Design Standards. Identify non-conformities, analyze root causes, recommend corrective measures, and manage reporting to On-Site Construction Teams for corrective resolution in a timely manner. Coordinate with Project Superintendents, General Superintendents, and Project Managers on results of inspections from Quality Control, Design Consultants, and 3rd Party Consultants at the conclusion of each site visit. Monitor and maintain accurate field documentation through written form and maintain up to date construction documents and job files. Ensure continuity, consistency, and JPI Standards for fit & finish of final product across all projects. Develop assigned Quality Control Specialists through orientation, training, and coaching. Manage the functions and performance of Quality Control Specialists in accordance with assigned duties and responsibilities. Coordinate and update Quality Control Director on status of projects, relevant concerns & trends to address deficiencies with products, installation, and design.
