Since my federal clerkship, I have had the opportunity to work at firms ranging in size from very small to AmLaw 200. During that time, I have been privileged to work for clients both large and small in both complex transactions and litigation matters. I have advised on a variety of commercial and corporate matters, including a variety of contracts, UCC compliance, employment issues including the FLSA, internal policies and procedures and other business matters. I have extensive experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial and operations-related agreements including privacy and data security agreements, entity formation documents, LLC/operating agreements, non-disclosure agreements, employment agreements (including non-compete, non-solicit, and severance agreements), vendor and supplier contracts, professional services contracts, commercial leases, buy/sell agreements and trade association agreements. Recently, I have had the opportunity to negotiate various agreements with healthcare and medical service organizations which required a working familiarity with both HIPAA and the use of health care data. I have been lead trial counsel in both state and federal courts and am familiar with all aspects of litigation from initial pleadings through the appellate stage. I’m an avid reader so I stay current on current legal trends and issues affecting my clients.
