Equivalent to a Lead / Supervisor. I led and was accountable for the people and processes required to provide engineering and technical support and standards for the Major Projects team in the Permian Business Unit. The duties included Project Management, Project Development, Project Controls, Facility Process Design, Equipment Design, Instrumentation, Electrical & Controls Engineering, Automation Technology, Process Safety, and Water Resources. My team consisted of Land, Regulatory, Environmental Engineering, I&E Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering and Contract Services which provided engineering and technical support, the establishment of common engineering standards and best practices, risk assessments and mitigation solutions, and identifies and implements continuous improvement opportunities.I also functioned as the Subject Matter Expert for mechanical and process design while working closely with Legal and Regulatory as the company moved into the New Mexico operating space; frequently providing council and review on EPA, State, and Federal regulations.I developed relationships with government officials and company peers in not only the Permian Asset, but also other active areas which was leveraged by the company for process and design improvement for the purpose of collaboration and strategic partnerships.

I led and was accountable for the people and processes required to provide Technical Support, Project Development-Management-Controls, and Data Analytics for Marathon Oil's Oklahoma Asset Team. My team functioned as Subject Matter Experts for all data and process in the asset including Measurement, SCADA, Production Reporting, Accounting, Accruals, Communications Design and Development, I&E and Automation Support and Design, Financial Reporting and Accruals, Data Forensics, Data Security, Subsurface Analysis, Peer Reporting, OBO Data Analytics and Reporting and Production Engineering Data Analysis, In this space I expanded the outreach of my team into the OBO (operated by other) space and developed solid relationships with company peers to develop fully integrated processes for the gathering of data that included: Strategic Planning, Drilling and Completion Schedules, Downtime, Production Data, and Plant Statement Information. This resulted in leveraging multiple contract services to create a bottom to top structured database that automatically sent/received data from multiple internal and external sources to increase the validity of Financial Accrual Reporting, Business Development and Planning, and Partnership Communications.

I provided engineering and technical support, the establishment of common engineering standards and best practices, risk assessments and mitigation solutions, and identified and implemented continuous improvement opportunities.

Managed 1200+ wells and subsequent LOE costs.Designed and implemented HighMount’s first two Gas Lift Valve systems fed from a local compression facility.Designed and coordinate recompletions based on Aries reserve calculations, log analysis with Integrated Petrophysics, and production history of offset wells.Evaluated and instituted a chemical program to lessen production decline and decrease operational expense on base production.Developed policies and procedure for placing and operating pumping between wells within the field that followed HES guidelines.

I was responsible for the Design, Scheduling and Execution of all Rocky Mountain well completions for Devon Energy. The coordination of services included enhanced reservoir modelling, production predictions based on stimulation design and fracture generation, and implementation of new technologies to keep Devon competitive in all areas of development.Led the efforts of continual improvement on stimulation design utilizing multiple fluid and fracture techniques for several different reservoir types.

Rocky Mountains

Assisted in the development Halliburton’s INSITE for Stimulation (IFS) software suite for data gathering and fracture analysis by enhancing the reservoir simulation models and DFIT analysis techniques.Developed the INSITE for Stimulation (IFS) best practices manual and guidelines for operation and resultant industry standard DFIT analysis tool suites.Developed and Applied fluid technology and fracture modeling expertise in the greater Rocky Mountain Area.Managed and trained new engineers in fracture stimulation theory and software including FracPro, Gohfer, Integrated Petrophysics, and INSITE for Stimulation.Designed and implemented over 1300 fracture stimulation treatments in various reservoirs utilizing multiple types of fluid treatments.
