Golf & Adventure Travel Expeditions is dedicated to providing quality Golf and Adventure vacations to Ireland, Scotland, Dominican Republic, Costa Rica, Panama, Mexico, Canada, and several unique destinations in the US at an excellent value. Our company is different than most travel companies due to the fact that we specialize in a small number of unique Golf & Adventure destinations and make a point to combine excursions that allow our clients to fully experience the county they are visiting. Our clients learn about and experience the local culture, history and local customs by participating in excursions where professional guides take clients off the beaten path and into the heart of each destination to do so much more than golf every day. We visit quaint villages and dine in local restaurants. We explore the natural wonders of each destination, from volcanoes to rain forests, from Mayan ruins to Taino Indian cave drawings. And when the vacation is over clients have a better understanding of the people and places they have just visited.Our company specializes in these destinations because we believe they are wonderful places to visit, not only to play golf, but to also experience their way of life. And no other company has such a great knowledge of these countries. We inspect the courses, hotels, restaurants and transportation companies several times a year. The Sun & Fun Golf Association is a subsidiary of GATE & operates out of Palm Coast Florida. It was established when the Southwest Florida Seniors Golf Association and the Sunshine State Golf Association merged. Our purpose is to further the enjoyment of golf by providing our members with golf trips promoting friendly competition at popular golf destinations. The SFGA specializes in coordinating group golf packages and we would like you to consider us when you begin planning your next golf event! We play 10 to 12 events each year, these events range from 3 days and 2 nights, all the way up to a week or longer. Our tournament formats vary; we play "2 best-ball of 4", "modified stable ford-individual and/or team", "scrambles", "medal play" and more! SFGA hosted events take place in Florida, the Southeast and the other parts of the USA, as well as international destinations such as Canada, Mexico, Ireland and the Dominican Republic. One of the things that make our longer events unique is that we include sightseeing opportunities where participants experience the local culture and cuisine of the places we visit.
