Get Schooled is a national nonprofit helping young people get to college, find their first job, and succeed in both. I lead a small, mighty marketing, communications, and creative team in developing youth-centric messaging, compelling creative and video content, strategic communications across social, text, and email, as well as unique regional + national campaigns to engage and inspire young people – specifically prioritizing Black, Brown, and Immigrant youth.Get Schooled has a robust social presence, an AI-backed college and job advising text line, compelling email marketing, and leads many national student engagement campaigns. During my 2.5 years with Boys & Girls Clubs, I established and aligned our brand policies, marketing, and communications efforts across 31 Club locations, 8 annual events, and 10 annual marketing and fundraising campaigns. During that time, our team increased fundraising revenue by 143% and established greater cohesion across the organization. I established a crisis communications action plan, helped facilitate training for 150+ staff, and consistently developed and managed crisis response plans for the organization. In addition, I led all internal and external communications for a 10 month executive search. I also built and established systems and processes to efficiently manage campaigns across multiple mediums and locations - including overhauling our member management system architecture, user experience, backend mechanics, and policies. I still currently volunteer with Boys & Girls Clubs and sit on the Club Advisory Board for the Southwest Boys & Girls Club.

Conducted a re-branding of Pure Food Kids' language, tone, and visual representation, Including creation and development of purefoodkids.org. Led the implementation and design of Dynamics CRM as our program scheduling, data collection, fundraising, and contact management database. Optimized workflow of programs and operations, increasing the efficiency of our work by 400%.Facilitation of annual strategic planning and goal setting. Administered strategic fundraising initiatives to scale our program sustainably. Led the analysis of short and long term impact of our program, using Dynamics CRM, Tableau, Access, and Excel for data analysis to inform the past and present, and develop strategy for future operations.Conducted stakeholder analysis, persona development, market research, content/messaging development, social media marketing, event marketing, and curation of social media channels to engage stakeholders, partners, and the community at large.
