• Manages a team that is responsible for project management within Operations as well as release management across the broader Digital organization. The team's responsibilities include managing: - Digital security and status reporting to leadership. Partners with several Information Protection teams to ensure penetration testing, dynamic scanning, and other activities are coordinated with the Delivery teams and any vulnerabilities are remediated within their assigned service level objective - Releases for key Digital applications such as the customer, broker, and employer portals. • Managed planning and coordination activities for vulnerability remediation efforts across Cigna's digital portfolio, including automated dynamic asset scanning, ad-hoc penetration testing, and ad-hoc adversary simulations• Partnered with the Attack Simulation, Business Information Security, and Web Assessment teams at Cigna to improve transparency of digital security and ensure security alignment with the Digital IT organization • Served as primary point of contact and project manager for various security initiatives across Cigna's Digital IT organization: - Scrum Master for the re-platforming effort of an obsolete framework in use on a core digital asset - Oversaw the implementation of improved password complexity rules across 24 customer-facing digital assets - Ensured the closure of over 30,000 database vulnerabilities identified across 4 digital assets• Scrum Master for the Infrastructure Hosting team, responsible for upwards of 500 servers that support Cigna's application portfolio across US domestic and international markets. Implementing Agile practices has brought improvements in transparency and prioritization of work, as well as reduction in turnaround times. • Developed and executed an enrollment strategy for 200 clients, ensuring that customers could utilize the Cigna Plan Selector and Enrollment tool within their allotted enrollment windows without issues. Currently planning the retirement of roughly 100 servers that support this application as the business was sunset.• Led the installation efforts of OpenText’s content management system TeamSite on new infrastructure in both Hong Kong and the United Kingdom to ensure continued vendor support. The success of both installations was followed by multiple training workshops, support model planning, and knowledge transfer sessions to enable an effective application handover and continued in-house support.

• As part of an international assignment, relocated from the United Kingdom to support the Delivery Excellence and Business Management teams in establishing and managing an end-to-end International Markets IT intake process. With support from the Architecture, Business Portfolio, and IT Delivery teams, a rigorous process was defined that oversaw ideation of business cases through to the physical allocation of project resources. • In 2016, $5.6MM of intake planning was completed with support from the Belgium, North American, and the United Kingdom IT Delivery teams with $2.2MM of project work approved and aligned to the portfolio. Continuous process improvements saw planning estimates increase to $14.1MM in 2017, and $29MM in 2018.• Led an international team of 5 administrators that supported the back-end processes and designs for Daptiv, a People and Project Management tool, utilized across International Markets. Additionally founded the Senior Leadership Team Governance Forum, with directors across Architecture, Business and IT Delivery, Business Management, and Finance, to ensure all process and design improvements met best standards and were strategically aligned prior to implementation.

• Prioritized and coordinated upwards of 100 work items each month as part of the Business as Usual small enhancement monthly release cycle. Scope commitments consecutively met and surpassed the 75% delivery quota, even with multiple releases in parallel across planning, development, and quality assurance.• Established a robust governance model and delivery standards that ensured small enhancements were handed off at each step of the delivery lifecycle with appropriate documentation and approvals. Improvements were seen across the quality assurance and production support phases, with a reduction of critical incidents following subsequent releases.• Subject matter expert for the IBM Rational Team Concert Agile task management tool used in Glasgow to manage the Business as Usual backlog and releases, as well as projects owned by the Delivery team. Held regular training workshops and ad-hoc reviews with teams to ensure effective and efficient use of the tool as well as best practices always being followed.

Final year volunteering role, which assisted the computing science tutors with their Python programming laboratory sessions. The demonstrators provided first and second year university students with support and guidance to complete their assigned computing science exercises each week.
