DisciplinedI grew up around the game of soccer with my dad emigrating to America from Ireland. The ethic he instilled in me helped me to go from a bench player on a local CYO team to playing for the Philadelphia Union Academy as well as the state and local teams, traveling around the world to represent the city I grew up in and the team I grew up watching. I aspire to translate that ethic from my time in sport to my career in finance.CandidDuring my time spent in college and in my different internships, I've learned that a person's word is their bond, and I pride myself on my ability to live up to my word and diplomatically speak the truth while doing the right thing. If I am unsure of something or don't agree, I am always willing to learn and constructively share thoughts and insights for the betterment of the team and completion of the task at hand in the most meaningful and impactful manner. ResourcefulI embrace the fact that I don't know what I don't know, and that has made my journey through my experiences, whether it be in college or out in the world, all the more valuable to me. If I don't know an answer to a question or how to do an assigned task, I do know where to find the answer and appreciate any opportunity to learn from all of the resources afforded to me, like asking a senior employee or researching different terms and ideas. DynamicI live by the ideal that all of the work that I do is not only a representation of myself, but also the organization that I am doing the work for. With this in mind, I always strive to produce the best possible work product that I can and solve problems before they are realized. I look forward and see how my current action item may impact something in the future and formulate a plan to most effectively produce that work in the most efficient and impactful way.
