The Digital Twin Cities Advisory Committee is a group of global industry leaders fromgovernment, industry, entrepreneurship, and academia.The digital twin city is a new concept and model of urban planning and construction forfuture sustainable development, an effective combination of digital technology innovationand urban operation mechanism innovation, and a feasible pathway for urban upgrading.Currently, the digital twin city is still in the early exploration stage, facing many challengessuch as inconsistent understanding, immature technology, and unclear business models. Atthe beginning of 2021, the World Economic Forum Urban Transformation Platform and theChina Academy of Information and Communication Technology (CAICT), together with keyglobal stakeholders, launched a three-year research project that seeks to make digital twintechnology accessible to the public, promote social equity and inclusiveness, help citiesachieve digital and low-carbon transformation, and jointly shape the future of digital twin citydevelopment.

I also write and report tothe Ministry’s Executive Team, Strategic Management Group and other departments. Thebalance of my work is analysing business processes and implementing businessimprovements, editing the intranet and internet sites, and researching Memoranda.
