Program Manager, Linehaul Scheduling
Current○ Leading a triple faceted team of nine associates working as Program Manager of Amazon’s NA Artificial Intelligence Reactive Scheduling team, Network Capping team, and Amazon’s Linear Target Cubes team○ Created automation tool to run tactical caps across the NA linehaul network resulting in 2,000 manual hours saved per year, and an additional $24 million in cost savings to fill rate and cancellations.○ Deployment of Baseline Linear Target Cubes to set cubic volume thresholds, for every individual shipment across Amazon’s entire North American outbound network○ Oversee a team consisting of Amazon Data Analysts and Software Data Engineers to conceptualize efficiency tools and artificial intelligence-based tools, in order to reduce cost by improving execution speed through reducing clicks○ Working with cross-functional teams based around the globe, to consolidate tech across various regions, and develop automated systems to reduce or remove all human input with regards to deploying target thresholds○ Utilizing lean principles and data driven quality management, in order to improve analytical decision making, through troubleshooting and re-coding dynamic quantitative analysis algorithms○ Created career development plans for subordinate analysts and working with them to develop their long-term career goals and ambitions, in addition to developing their present-day skillsets○ Maintaining and improving the artificial intelligence logic of Amazon’s Reactive Scheduling tool, providing real-time suggestions for ad-hoc loads and cancellations based on prediction algorithms and real-time analytics from Amazon sites○ Managed severe escalations for Amazon’s OB Reactive Scheduling team, many of which are directly assigned from the Amazon’s executive leadership team○ Routinely analyzed top offending lanes with regards to ad-hocs throughout the outbound network, determining root cause issues and make permanent adjustments
