Joined Ogilvy Vietnam after DDB in Malaysia as a Group Account Director. Handled a wide range of global clients such as PONDs, Nestle Milo, Nestle Waters, DHL, Motorola and GSK. Went on to grow the billings of the local accounts by successfully acquiring accounts such as Parkson, KFC, Vietnam Airlines amongst other blue chip accounts. Also was key in developing and growing the business of leading local beverage brand, Khong Do and Dr.Thanh Herbal Tea from a billing of USD60k per year to one of the biggest advertisers in Vietnam, making it the largest local account in Ogilvy. Local business now accounts for over 60% of the billings of the agency thereby successfully minimizing the risk of dependency on regional business. Started out as a fresh AE managing the fast moving Parkson account. Went on to become part of the pioneer team that helped establish DDB International and DDB Retail to manage growing new and conflicting businesses, growing the business from a billings of USD2 million per year to USD4 million. Responsible for securing new business wins such as leading cruise liner in Asia Pacific Star Cruises, hypermarket Tesco, Apex Pharmacy and Hard Rock Café Philippines that helped to put the new division on a strong financial footing. Building on the success, went on to further drive the marketing effectiveness and creative standards of DDB International via the following .
