I was second in charge, maintaining a small Certified Naturally Grown and non-profit market and CSA farm including but not limited to the following tasks: greenhouse and hoophouse management and production; field crop planning, planting and management; mechanical, chemical (OMRI certified) and hand weed and pest management; harvest and processing, packaging and display of crops for CSA and farmers' market; egg-laying chicken care; volunteer and day-laborer recruitment, education and management; diesel tractor operations. **I left after such a short term because the organization became very unstable in it's trajectory and I was not appropriately supported in my position. **

I received orders from national distributors and local farmers: doing inventory, quality assurance, rotating supply based on expiration dates and quality. I also prepared and stocked all food for the line, short order cooking, cleaning, dishwashing, food running, customer service, etc.

Building and assembling hoop houses for hardy winter crops, weeding, harvesting, washing, bundling and delivery of produce for farmers' market, restaurant and retail sale on a Certified Organic, three acre truck farm.

I took care of a 3 acre organic flower, perennial and herb garden with a small fruit orchard with a crew of five. This included managing and tracking a multi-stage rotational compost system, preparing garden beds for new plantings, tilling the soil and adding organic soil amendments, transplanting, starting seeds, taking cuttings, irrigation and irrigation repair, on-going amending/fertility care, harvesting, washing, flower-arranging, packaging for farmers' markets, fruit tree pruning, etc.
