Kept a number of animals in the park, which involved cleaning and feeding the animals as well as keeping them engaged and entertained through novel experiences and training exercises. Was vigilant in making sure their health was in good standing and that enclosure maintenance was properly attended to. Carried out educational talks with the public on a number of animals on how their species behaves and lives in the wild, their current status, and history in the province.

Helped come up with potential solutions to many issues that were brought to my attention by customers and gave advice on how to easily and affordably make those solutions a reality.

Gathered habitat data on the endangered Williamson's Sapsucker by going to historical nest tree sites and gathering biological data from the areas. Data included stand density, tree species present, tree size classes, presence of fungal decay, and course woody debris volumes among others. Traveled to sites across the interior of British Columbia from Kamloops to Princeton, often involving offroad travel and remote hiking. Involved the use of compasses, GPS, and ArcMap on mobile tablets.

Aided Zookeepers with daily tasks when needed, performed daily food preparation, fed, cleaned, and monitored farm animals at petting zoo area, worked in on-site wildlife rehabilitation hospital.

Recieved 2D CAD drawings and blueprints, turning them into 3D sketchup shop drawings. After the final design was determined and final dimensions figured out, the cut list would be printed and i would get started breaking out materials and cutting them to size. After materials were cut, i would begin assembly and (sometimes) move on to finishing. We would then deliver and install the products into customers homes.
