Administrative Assistant, State Government Affairs
Current- Support four managing directors and an assistant vice president with tracking and engaging with legislation and regulations in all 50 states (ESG, tax, securities, AI, banking, finance, environmental, etc.).- Manage a seven-figure budget through coordinating invoices, expenses, and accounting with outside counsel, state lobbying firms, business groups, etc. Coordinate syndication projects on specific issues with member firms.- Organize and oversee regular committee meetings with 100+ attendees from investment banks, finance firms, state securities regulators, and elected officials. Report on relevant topics to attendees as needed.- Plan travel, events, and communication for multiple managing directors while maintaining lobbying compliance with reports / filings in every state.- Serve as a resource for member firms seeking information about the financial industry while ensuring confidentiality. Onboard and track engagement of hundreds of members and firms through databases.- Perform tasks as needed with short turnaround (e.g. creating policy analyses and charts on emerging legislation / regulations, training interns, office services tasks, etc.).
