CurrentResponsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Loading Rack, particularly in the tankfield area.To understand, follow and practice all established safety rules.Receival of all products from the Refinery or ship into the Loading Rack tanks. Taking opening and or closing gauges and representative samples.Reconciliation of product receivals with the Refinery. To calculate gallons/barrels at natural and give the equivalent in gallons/barrels at 60°F, and subsequently report any discrepancy to the supervisor.The draining of product tanks and filters, as well as the keeping of records of same.To perform simple mechanical tasks, monitor meters and pumps and report any abnormal sounds coming from meters or pumps, to the supervisor.To make routine checks on the loading bays and report any variances from the Company’s safe tank wagon loading practice.Line up and delivery of products from the storage tanks to the loading bays and Jamaica Public Service Co. (JPS Co.), Hunts Bay/Bogue.
