- Notre Dame Students Empowering through Engineering Development (NDSEED) is a student chapter of Engineers in Action- Consists of a team of 12 students that designs a suspended pedestrian footbridge throughout the year and travels in the summer to construct the bridge in Latin America- Managing the quality control processes for the design and construction of the footbridge, ensuring adherence to project specifications, standards, and regulations

As a Slatt Fellow, I was able to pursue research regarding offshore wind and analyze the conditions created by wind-wave interaction to better inform turbine design. I explored the current state of offshore wind and the engineering, economic, and social problems that it faces. I then ran simulations for varying wind speeds after modifying Large eddy simulation (LES) code in Linux and analyzed the turbulence characteristics from the wind-wave interaction.
