I have worked in the restaurant industry from 2017 to present day. This is a seasonal restaurant, so during the summer I work as a waiter. Every day I engage with new customers who come into the restaurant and serve them throughout their dining experience. The biggest aspect of our restaurant is hospitality. Day after day I serve people with a smile on my face and make sure their experience is good enough to come back, which is my priority. I am also very efficient while I work, making sure each customer's need is filled. Sophomore year of college at the University of Rhode Island I was president of my Fraternity, Phi Gamma Delta. During this time I would be in charge of my entire organization, being the spokesperson for nationals, conduct weekly meetings on actions to take to improve our overall chapter, all while keeping up with my studies as I was also taking five classes. I was able to work with the treasurer and get our organization out of debt, which I knew was an issue when I ran for the position. As a junior I ran for the Director of Public Relations and received the position in April of 2022. I attend events at the university that is held by Greek Life, and create content to post on the Instagram to improve our engagement and overall size of the profile. I create informative and textual posts for events that are going to happen, and also spotlight all fraternities who raise money for good causes.
