• Global Frontier Group (GFC) is an international advisory and development firm that engages in high-value sustainable projects. GFG focuses on technical solutions for increasing process efficiencies, supporting local industry, and reducing the environmental footprint.o Transitioning GFG to new IP resources.o I brought 40 years of technical experience to bear: almost 20 years in Engineering, R&D and Project Management, and over 20 years’ experience in Patent Law related work with innovation leaders to GFG. o I also assist technical groups within GFG, its subsidiaries Northwest Metals Group (NMG), Eco Metals Recovery (EMR) and others with various technological solutions for both existing and upcoming industries. • In my career as an R&D engineer I designed mechanical equipment and, in that early era, also wrote C++ programs for stress and process modelling, heat and mass balances and graphics representations. I designed, instrumented, tested and built components for all aspects of hydrocarbon processing facilities, including high temperature mechanical components, oil fractionation systems and control systems. I operated hazardous waste treatment plants of our design in the USA and project management for larger capacity plants for installation overseas.• Leveraging my multidisciplinary engineering background, I became a Patent Agent, and then obtained my Bachelor and Master’s degrees in law so as to help others by protecting and advancing their technologies. Over the next 2 decades, I managed patent portfolios for both large multinational corporations and, for smaller dynamic individuals and businesses, providing technological exclusivity through patents added to their business acumen. Many of those clients achieved remarkable growth including, in many cases, starting from the ideas of a few individuals to develop into companies having valuations of over $100M. • In my semi-retirement, I am assisting where I can to advance worthy projects to fruition.

● I worked with management and various technical groups within Northwest Metals Group (NMG) in the unique identification, assay and extraction of precious metals from refractory ores. In concert with our parent group, Global Frontier Group (GFG), we support local industry and human resources, while working to reduce the environmental footprint.● In the first several decades of my career, I was involved in multidisciplinary engineering environments including difficult hydrocarbon recovery from earth including oilsands, kerogen, shales and hazardous waste contaminated soils. Steeped in the R&D environment, I was involved in the design, building and piloting of specialized treatment plants. As needed in small enterprises with large dreams, I also wrote computer programs to create tools and solve new problems, designed unique equipment, and operational controls and interfaces, all of which were needed for the construction and operation of plants used in North America and abroad. ● Over the next two decades, in my own boutique law firm, I applied my engineering knowledge and qualifications as a Patent Agent and IP Lawyer to help hundreds of clients and industries protect and advancing their on technologies. In my later years I transitioned my legal team to a larger law firm and I phased into semi-retirement where I can now apply my skills to advance worthy projects to fruition.
