The Amalfi Foundation is on the mission to elevate underserved communities both locally and abroad. As a Program Manager, I am meeting one on one with our fundraisers each week to set achievable goals that maximize their potential. I am also working directly with the managing director to establish fundraising strategies. Through this position, I also planned of our 2023 and 2024 galas. The foundation raised $480,582.69 in it's first year.

I ran a fundraising campaign where I was competing with other local high school students and raised $73,143.55. The main goal of this campaign was to raise lifesaving dollars, but another goal was to help the student candidates develop their professional business skills. Every week I sent numerous emails to different businesses and potential donors. I was challenged to meet with local corporations and partner with them. In exchange for a donation, I would negotiate ways in which the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society could help them. This mostly consisted of advertising benefits. Of the $73,000 my team and I raised, $30,000 came from these corporate sponsorships. I teamed up with over 10 businesses to help reach my goals and help them reach theirs. Since completing the campaign, I continued my work through the campaign ambassador program. In early 2022, I worked with new candidates on reaching their goals and hosted the gala.
