Ever since I was young, I have held a deep passion and curiosity for emerging technologies. Early on, I often experimented with hardware and mechanical devices, dismantling them and attempting to rebuild or reengineer them into some truly outrageous creations. As I matured, my interests rapidly expanded to electrical devices such as cell phones, early stage wireless technologies, and microcontrollers. Application development for mobile devices, however, was my first true introduction to what would become my greatest passion, software engineering.Many years later, I am now a Software Engineer building full stack applications for both mobile and browser based platforms. A recent application that I am particularly proud of is a clone of Amazon, combining 9 micro-services through a proxy server deployed on AWS, created with a stack consisting of React, MongoDB, and Node.js with the added challenge of recreating identical styling using only vanilla CSS.My goal is to be part of a team on the forefront of the Software industry, creating and refining new services and technologies to make the world a better and more connected place for everyone.
