Recognizing the difficulty of breaking in as a new supplier, I gave them my full attention. After a few test orders, their interest was piqued, but their continued business was contingent on us adhering to fastidious quality parameters. For several years, I worked closely with them, doing extensive testing beyond what we did for any other customer and installing equipment for them. I ensured that everything met their high standards, and they became one of our largest customers, with millions of dollars in revenue each year. Further, they came to trust me, even allowing me inside their facilities that were virtually top secret. I became a real partner. Identified $72M in new business opportunities through customer outreach.In my current role, I reached out to customers and interviewed them on their most pressing issues, including on how we could improve our service and be a better supplier. These interviews generated over 100 unique solutions. After brainstorming with managers, I performed further market research and built a new product pipeline.
