Part of a National Supply Chain company offering a national transport and 3PL solutions.✓My role as National Systems Manager is to develop, execute and oversee strategies to streamline and enhance systems, software implementation and client integration(s).✓I proposed and executed system modification solutions for both TMS and WMS systems through technical work instructions for both business and client requirements, this in turn improved the functionality of the software.✓I created customised BI and KPI reports for both internal staff and clients.✓In directing the development and implementation of internal and external communication strategies and integrated internal systems the business was able to secure larger more lucrative contracts with major companies. ✓My initial conversations with clients was to determine project scope and specifications to the final presentation of software solutions. I provided feedback and updates on development projects and prepared reports and presentations, as well as demonstrations, to keep the client informed about issues that arise during development and report on integration and deployment.✓I gathered requirements and specifications from clients and users. This aspect of the role required working closely with client and key stakeholders to gain a complete sense of client expectations and limitations before I undertook a major development project. The sales presentation detailed a cost saving and a detailed system integration which would drive efficiencies within the two companies.

Responsible for the regional office for a leading provider of telecommunication services across Australia offering a full turnkey solution.✓In my role as a Regional Manager I oversaw some of the Human Resource responsibilities for direct reports including recruitment, training and development, performance management, professional performance reviews, disciplinary management and office health and safety.✓I was responsible for the end to end project life cycle from initiation, planning design, development, testing and deployment of the telecommunication network ensuring successful project scope, schedule and cost control. In addition, I developed policies and procedures and recruited and trained installations teams.✓In collaboration with the Operations Manager and the quality management team I facilitated and agreed upon the processes required for ISO quality management and client accreditation inclusive of risk identification and management, whilst also adhering to all organisational policies, procedures, standard and practices. I also managed and maintained regional assets including property and vehicles.✓Responsible for the BI & KPI reporting for fortnightly governance reports detailing financial forecasts and project deliverables ensuring these were attained in a timely manner as per the projected scope for client and project stakeholders.✓I undertook annual staff appraisals and provided ongoing feedback, mentoring and advice, actively supported skill development, continuous improvement and increased competencies through an effective performance management framework.✓I was also responsible for the creation of commercial tenders and collaborated with technical managers and sales teams to assemble proposals and responses.

Responsible for the implementation & operations of the new operational department within in an existing telecommunication company to increase profitability and enhance quality control. ✓ I managed day to day operations including all administration, internal business processes, workflows, policy making and strategy.✓ Utilising my past experiences, I leveraged from this into more succinct business-related matters looking at department financials, systems and processes, recruitment, contracts, warehouse logistics and the requisite regulatory authorisation. This also included budgeting, growth and forecasting, cost control and systems analysis to streamline the processors, vendor and supplier management.✓ In organising the fundamental basics of the department, I had to obtain client(s) approval through OH&S auditing resulting in ISO9001 accreditation.✓ Whilst I was in management of the department our team was successfully awarded three contracts with MBNL, SIAE and Cable & Wireless.✓ Within 4 years the department grew to over 30 staff in all areas of telecommunications. Our highly skilled workforce was integral to us obtaining the above contracts.✓ Actively involved in the tendering process and met directly with clients to provide feedback and updates on development projects and prepared reports and presentations to aid in this.

Part of the senior management team to one of the UK’s leading service provider of network infrastructure services in the telecommunication industry.✓ In my role as a Construction Manager I managed the daily operations of internal staff, sub-contractors and supervisors while they were engaged in construction, and installation of all project related telecommunication systems through infrastructure design, procurement and build.✓ I identified existing system and determined whether added time and work is necessary to align the project with enterprise-level systems. In addition, I identified areas where implementation may require more solutions to be successful.✓ As a Construction Manager I was responsible for the co-ordination of utility companies and the overall installation of construction works whilst ensuring quality control measures were followed and the site was completed as per operators/client’s design standards.

Part of a leading engineering company with a deep understanding of technology integration, infrastructure management and specialised training.✓ My role as a Site Engineer was to design and install telecommunication equipment ensuring the data transmitted over wireless communication was of a high quality. I examined new network technologies and offered suggestions regarding integration of the network.✓ Researching network availability and providing maintenance and support was a large part of my role. I planned, scheduled and played an active role in the equipment installation inclusive network testing and preparation of Acceptance documentation. I also co-ordinated and procured materials and liaised with vendors and contractors.✓ I was involved with solution designs such as drawings and design documents and offered guidance to reduce the design complexity and project manage financial cost control through budgets. I evaluated technical issues relating to operator network and resolved it at as per the service level agreement.✓ Development of all documentation, such as health & safety and network plans, were integral to the success of the projects I was involved in.
