In this position my responsibilities include dealing with all manner of pension, maternity, tax and contractual change queries. This includes calculating total pensionable earnings for pension refunds, pension and maternity applications, over payment and underpayment of wages and completing documents required for ceased employment. It requires an in depth knowledge of health service pension, maternity and contract elements in addition to a good knowledge of Tax rates and calculations. In this position I use the SAP program on a daily basis in conjunction with Microsoft office software, working with other departments and organisations is also key in this role.

In this position I worked in the finance directorate processing payments, dealing with customer/bank inquiries a main part of this role is adhering to payment deadlines to avoid a back log in customer payments and inter-department communication to ensure an efficient and effective work flow is maintained.

In this position my main duties were cash handling, order booking, product and shop maintenance, and staff management. This involved effectively and efficiently running the shop and staff to ensure work was carried out to a high standard while ensuring customer satisfaction and convenience. This included handling major complaints, incidents or queries from the customers, safely ensuring the health and well being of customers and staff during emergencies and other unforeseen circumstances.

In this role my responsibilities included cash register operation, stock replenishment, ensuring customer satisfaction. Interaction with the public was on a one to one basis; this gave me an excellent understanding on how to interact with consumers in a manner that benefited and positively represented the company I was employed with.
