I am extremely passionate about what I do for a living. This core tenet has always been present in my work ethic as a professional chef, but it is now time to change the landscape and invest this passion in a new career direction. I have built up excellent skills, attributes, and knowledge which I am keen to apply to a new industry. I have worked as a chef in fast paced kitchens where the success of every day depends on working with a close-nit dynamic and communicative team. I have learned to be a highly effective communicator. I am attuned to figuring out both an individual’s and the teams needs in order to get the best out everyone and deliver to results to the highest standard. Networking with fellow chef's in the catering sector is a crucial skill, good chef's can be hard to come by and often you need a helping hand at only a moment's notice. Likewise, great suppliers and purveyors can be hard to source, so building positive relationships is crucial to providing a great product. I can say with confidence that through 6’ of separation I am well networked throughout the Irish food industry. My experience in dealing with time sensitive stock and produce has informed my ability to effectively forecast inventory needs and has enhanced my knowledge of the inner workings of supply chains. I am creative and love to use a combination of creativity and practical means to solve problems. If you get the balance right, I think it's the most effective and efficient way to problem solve. I have a degree in graphic design, excellent computer skills, well organised, methodical, can work under pressure and most importantly, I am ready for a new challenge
