Consequence Management Instructor
CurrentServes as an operational training Subject Matter Expert (SME) responsible for the everyday performance of all training support and training management. Subject matter expert and senior course instructor for Marines, Sailors, civilians, and outside agencies to include foreign military personnel in CBRNE Basic Consequence Management response trough the CBIRF Basic Operations Course (CBOC). Design response force exercise scenarios to include finding a training site, leading assessment team during the exercise ensuring all aspect of the IRF are being evaluated, and gathering after action items in order to provide the Commanding Officer the status of technical expertise. Research, develop, and manage learning objectives, training aids, lesson plans, student outlines, testing material, and training presentations. Implement necessary changes ensuring training is current. Participate with staff and the Command on annual curriculum review boards to analyze training and curriculum ensuring training material for the CBOC is current and in accordance with response force doctrine, techniques and methodology and aligns with the needs and goals of the organization. Evaluate qualifications and experience in CBRNE Consequence Management of potential new instructors. Evaluate performance of instructors and provide feedback to the program manager. Represent the agency as the training specialist subject matter expert in weekly Commanding Officer meetings, weekly operations and training meetings, and weekly logistic and maintenance meetings. Develop After Action Reports and Lessons Learned that are submitted to the command after response force exercises and drills ranging from on-site training to offsite exercises involving multiple outside agencies, including non-Department of Defense Agencies. Evaluate operational curriculum and course-ware for effectiveness and forward recommendations to the customer.
