My name is Sean dePasquale McKibbin ,also known as dePasquale Sculptures and I've been a professional sculptor for 31 years. Nonetheless, I started my creative fervor back in grade school with ceramics and jewelry. Soon after my explorations in high school, I went to Appalachian State University to pursue Industrial Arts, but was side-tracked into the art of stone sculpture. I did, however, do instructional assistance in leather and ceramics, "it is of tremendous joy to help a person wanting to explore their creative being".In college I was exposed to the basic tools in stone sculpture. It was not until I was out on my own in the art world that I designed, carved, and sold hundreds of sculptures ranging from marine life, wildlife, abstract, and figurative sculptures to a wide array of collectors throughout the world.Specialties: My focus is designing and carving one of a kind originals, one on one sales utilizing granite, marble, alabaster, wood, bronze, and multimedia combinations i.e. marble and wood. I do commissions and sculpture demonstrations as well as architectural carving i.e. fireplaces, fountains, countertops, wall reliefs, and clocks.
