Led a wonderful community school with a focus on curriculum development, breadth and balance. Enrichment was our goal through international partnerships with schools in Cyprus and Lithuanian. Part of an international inter-visitation programme to research into values led education. Babcock associate advisor and LLE providing school to school support. Always about developing people through CPD, research and lesson study. Proud that so many of the team I led have now progressed to senior leadership and headship. School achieved academic outcomes in top 20% of all schools nationally but breadth and opportunity for all was our primary goal.

Oversaw the transition of the school from being a First School to full Primary status as part of Exeter reorganisation. Developed an inspirational team and took the school from satisfactory to outstanding in 18months. Achieved healthy schools outstanding status, oversaw the building of new classrooms and installation of a new 140k MUGA. Developed the school to be an integral part of the community and as LLE provided schools to school support.
