Researched various environmental law and water law issues for the department and drafted memoranda to outline key issues of interest for the City of San Diego Public Utilities. Worked with City of San Diego Public Utilities management to ascertain which currently pending pieces of California and Federal legislation are pertinent to the policy aims of the department and respond accordingly. Drafted and edited bill analyses, policy analyses and comment letters to legislators and other concerned political groups. Participated in conference calls, work groups, and other collaborative efforts to both enhance and further the policy aims of City of San Diego Public Utilities Department.

Assisted clinic clients in filing Domestic Violence Restraining Orders, Civil Harassment Restraining Orders, and Unlawful Detainer Answers.

Oversaw general office maintenance and business operations. Duties included: coordinating execution of work orders, reconciling/generating invoices, safety training, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, managing company financials, worker's compensation compliance, implementation of technology and information systems, occasional physical labor on landscaping projects.
