Gaining a hands-on experience working for a local non-profit company to promote cancer awareness and prevention by targeting the youth. Collaborating on publicity and marketing efforts at music festivals, rock clubs, local coffee shops, and bike shops. Working closely with the Marketing Coordinators on planning and executing brand activation onsite at events and for new potential events. ONE of my main areas of work was in assisting the Marketing Coordinator in efforts to engage and grow various social media platforms including Instagram, Twitter and Facebook. Some of these campaigns recently have been distributing promotional eye-catching materials to raise cancer awareness on area campuses and record and coffee shops.
