Working with a team of up to 90, split over four areas, I have Driven and Progressed processes for product packing. This includes areas of box makeup Small and Large, Small product packing and Large product packing. Introducing better process flows and material handling, robust quality improvements within the working area and working processes. Driving Business KPI’s for pack targets ensuring Daily, weekly and monthly targets were met in a timely manner bringing harmony to the a pack and ship goal. I was able to bring forward and eradicate a back log of quality and process discrepancies, leading the way with process audits, 5S audits and practical problem solving to go above and beyond business expectation. Eradicating broken communication lines between MPL & Operations departments to get a better work flow through departments to reach the final Business goal. Training and developing Team leaders through the business to re-structure the team through one to ones, evidence packs and target setting, driving them to hit Team goals and targets as well as personal achievements, Building up skills within the Operations team such as Problem solving, managing performance, Team building, Shift tracking and audit critic. Developing and Driving contingency plans ensuring process and target conformance is adhered to maximise output. Pack Target planning was a daily activity ensuring head count to target adherence was met driving cross training and contingency plans to ensure adaptability within the team. Being a lead member in driving a Global Standards Audit to ensure correct standards of work was met including robust process achievement, safe working practises, Work flow and optimisation achieving a Gold 2 standard for the business. Working closely with the health & safety team to drive business KPI’s such as hazard spotting and MHE audit developing the skills in the team also to drive these targets.

Working with teams up to 15 on a rotation shift I have learnt and lead processes of material movement and planning, introducing more efficient processes of working and more robust quality improvements. Using systems AOS, CMMS and Q pulse to improve material flow and bring forward a back log of quality issues and process discrepancies. I have liaised with customers and suppliers to build a good relationship to bring harmony to our combined ways of working, also building a relationship with the operations teams to learn how they work, scheduling and targets which they are set and how they can effect both MP&L and Operations output. Building up strong communication lines between departments and all levels of the business to ensure all departments could have the best possible output. Driving Team Leaders to hit group, as well as personal targets with evaluation of the working shift for improvements and target evaluation. I have engaged in process performance through review and contingency plans ensuring process conformance is adhered to maximise output. I have had full involvement in disciplinary and absenteeism policy’s to ensure the department was legal and up to date.

With a team of 15 in numerous areas of complete under body build, with a customer first layout, I led the team to high targets of Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, People and Environment. I developed my skills for quality inspection and problem solving, using tools such as SWC, PSP, PPS, Level Zero, warranty claims and Etrackers. I developed my area processes with productivity to cut down process times and wasted cost to achieve the best delivery time of the product. With the target of Destination Zero on safety I constantly monitored my area with 5s, kiazens and hazard tracker to drive this target. I led a project of Total Preventive Maintenance (TPM) within build hall to drive quality inspections of equipment and areas for 66 cube layouts, bringing the score of the build hall to the highest on site achieving TPM champion. I took charge of consumables order and planning, to achieve an above and beyond standard for storage and use while also developing the area while achieving quarterly targets.
