My work is based on examining how the Ojibwe language creates a novel form of analysis for visualizing biodiversity and natural resource management data. I do this from an Anishinaabe-centered epistemological framework that critically situates data visualization as an inflection point for either facilitating extraction or establishing ethics through mutual accountability.
