The SIMS Foundation provides mental health and substance use recovery services and supports for musicians, music industry professionals, and their dependent family members. Through education, community partnerships, and accessible managed care, SIMS seeks to destigmatize and reduce mental health and substance use issues, while supporting and enhancing the wellbeing of the music community at large.

Contracted via Seeds for Change Consulting to serve as Interim CMO overseeing all organizational marketing and communications strategies and needs.

Oversaw philanthropic resource development, marketing, and global expansion efforts (Colombia, Kenya) for CATCH, an organization providing health education resources to more than 3 million youth on topics of nutrition, physical activity, mindfulness, SEL, vaping prevention and more.

The World Food Bank works to revolutionize global food systems through an innovative finance platform in order to end world hunger and lift smallholder farmers in Africa (Uganda, Kenya, Zambia) out of poverty.

Austin Give 5 is a collaborative city-wide initiative to unite 200+ corporations and businesses in Central Texas with environmental nonprofit organizations working to preserve and protect Central Texas' natural resources, including the Hill Country Conservancy, the Shoal Creek Conservancy, the Sustainable Food Center, the Austin Parks Foundation, Waller Creek Conservancy, and more.

Edge of Seven was founded in 2009 with the mission of empowering girls and women in developing countries by creating access to education, health and economic opportunities. To accomplish this, EO7 generates funding, technical support, and volunteer support for educational infrastructure projects and community improvements that provide a direct and majority benefit to women and girls in rural regions of Nepal, Kenya, and Nicaragua. EO7’s projects are initiated at the community level and are carried out in collaboration with local NGOs that have consistently made strides to elevate the status of females in their countries.

Managed and advised over communications strategies, media relations, and marketing and online advocacy efforts for Next Generation Nepal, an organization that works to reunite children who have been trafficked to corrupt children's homes and orphanages in Nepal with their families. Next Generation Nepal has offices in New York City and Kathmandu.

Managed all of the organization's external communications, public relations, marketing, community outreach, graphic design, newsletter production, marketing collateral production, multimedia content, film production, and digital strategies related to online audiences and social media. Also worked on fundraising and development strategies for the organization, as well as the implementation of an organizational rebranding campaign that included the redesign of MOWAM's logo and website. Completed intensive nonprofit communications training at the SPIN Academy in California in 2009. With a staff of more than 100 employees and a team of more than 6,000 local volunteers, MOWAM serves 1 million meals annually and provides myriad services to thousands of home-bound disabled and elderly individuals in Austin, Texas.

Produced multimedia client and volunteer narratives and various marketing materials that documented the impact of ASP's work over the course of one summer. ASP is a nonprofit organization that provides free home repairs for impoverished people in the Central Appalachia region of Virginia, West Virginia, Kentucky and Tennessee.

Wrote, on deadline, eight to 12 news stories per week related to Cambridge city government and politics, Massachusetts state government, public safety, public education, and community and social issues. Assisted with newspaper layout, assumed all editing duties in the editor’s absence, and contributed additional articles to The Boston Herald and other sister newspapers. The Cambridge Chronicle was named 2005 Newspaper of the Year by the New England Newspaper Association.

Wrote, on deadline, eight to 10 news stories per week related to Newton's public education system and city government, as well as breaking news and community features. Assisted with newspaper layout and assumed editing duties in the editor’s absence. The Newton TAB was named 2004 Newspaper of the Year by the New England Newspaper Association.
