Work closely with a group of sales executives to architect complex cloud solutions and DevOps practices while attaining and ensuring HIPAA and HITRUST compliance on Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services, and Microsoft Azure.

As a Senior Solutions Architect, I help clients move their mission-critical applications to the right managed infrastructure platform - be that a traditional dedicated server environment, private cloud, or hyper-scale public cloud through strategic alliances with Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services. Beginning with their high-level business objectives and continuing through to technical solution design, I guide clients through the complex process of choosing the optimal platform, architecting for maximum availability, and planning their migration. Transforming applications and IT operations to a cloud model is complex. It's my job to help my clients successfully navigate that change.

Lead a 4-team Sales Engineering organization up to 20 Pre-Sales Engineers. Recruit, hire, and develop management team and engineers. Continually improve the business, adapting to changing technology and market drivers.

Led several teams of managed hosting and cloud sales engineers. Provided onboarding support, professional development, and problem escalation support to my direct reports. Assisted employees with complex technical and sales issues.

Provided consultative systems engineering services in the pre-sales process. Worked closely with sales executives, prospective clients, and Rackspace Operations to architect technical solutions that A) fulfill customers' requirements, B) are supportable by Rackspace, and C) are profitable to the company.

Provided customer support that included configuring, managing, and troubleshooting Internet servers that included Web, FTP, Mail, Active Directory, Media, Database, DNS, SSL, E-commerce, Backup and File service. Chosen as the first Enterprise-level engineer at Rackspace, I helped build the company's first enterprise-grade hosting service. Partnered with an account manager, I was my customers' primary technical consultant for their hosted environment. My book of accounts included Rackspace's largest customer at the time and several household name companies.
