Responsible for the management and implementation of the key voice and data system utilised by a user group of 600+ employees. Management of a range of large-scale projects to facilitate communications spanning multiple departments in multinational settings has required strong project management skills and the ability to work well under pressure. I am required to communicate with senior stakeholders to lead on the system requirement that are essential in the coordination of both UK and overseas deployments to meet key operational objectives.

Cyprus

This role required me to organise and manage communication courses within the organisation of more then 600 personnel. I had the responsibility to identify any skill gaps and ensure compliance within the unit to improve operational effectiveness.I was responsible for configuring the infrastructure and maintaining multiple voice and data networks whilst deployed overseas. This had added pressure during the Covid-19 pandemic where essential work had to be carried out with new challenges for safety reasons.

This role required me to manage 5 super users to ensure robust communications within the department of 90 users. I acted as the technical lead within the department for all communication equipment. Auditing and equipment accountancy were key areas of responsibility and I successfully oversaw the department international move to Cyprus.

This role required me to manage 8 infantry soldiers and act as a role model for junior members of the team. I showed an aptitude for communication systems which along with my strong organisational skills resulted in me becoming a key point of contact for communication equipment within my department.

This role gave me the opportunity to gain experience with multiple departments within the organisation both in the UK and overseas. One of these roles required me to manage a fleet of over 100 vehicles with strong communication and organisational skills dealing with both Internal and external stake holders.
