Sean is a highly motivated leader who is passionate about building community and leading others interested in doing the same. In his role as Chief Operations Officer for Mission Thrift Stores, Sean works every day to drive operational excellence and looks ahead to enhance performance by focusing on people, cross-sector collaboration and growth strategies for 51 stores across Canada. Prior to this role, Sean leveraged his skills to lead local and international nonprofits, forging partnerships with brands like Google, HSBC, McDonalds, and Starbucks. In 2017, he launched Mother Erth, an environmental employment social enterprise, recognized at the Golden Globes, weaving eco conscious fashion, along with providing full-time employment to at-risk mothers, and rescuing 300 tonnes of plastic from the ocean. With 20 years of non-profit experience and a strong record of achievement in leadership, branding, strategic planning, and business development, Sean sinks his passion and energy into building relationships and leading organizational growth and change while also sharing his skills by volunteering and serving on non-profit boards.In Sean's downtime he enjoys scuba diving, playing squash, traveling with his family and being ordered around by his girls to secure pet donations and volunteer as a driver for their initiative of animalaction.ca
