I'm currently working on evolving our mobility packet core to run in a virtualized environment. The project is both challenging and rewarding as it is a culmination of my many years of experience in several different areas. I'm looking forward to the opportunity to learn new things while maintaining the great personal and professional relationships I've developed within AT&T.

Serve a technical resource in designing and building of complex application and network environments for mobility customers. Manage ATT's Evolved Packet Core Gateway platforms for GPRS and LTE technologies. Facilitate the testing, validation and deployment of newly created mobility infrastructure platforms.

Working as a Sr. Technical Architect supporting the company's GGSN Architecture within the mobility packet core. I've been supporting the development of new products and services such as the iPhone, Mobility Applications, Mediation, etc.

Assess risk and business impacts while performing mitigation and containment of Information Technology security related incidents. Design, configure and implement enterprise Intrusion Detection, ArcSight Security Information Management (SIM) and log analysis tools. Develop and lead a team of security analysts to process security related event data.

Network Design Engineer(2001-2004):Implement enterprise scale networks and applications leveraging standardized SDLC and ITIL based methodologies. Build core, distribution and access environments using Cisco network elements. Integrate acquire company locations and facilities during mergers and acquisitions.Operations Engineer(1999-2001):Lead operations engineer for an enterprise data center facility located in Bothell, WA. Install, configure and sustain network infrastructure components in one of two national data center facilities.Monitoring Analyst (1997-1998):Troubleshoot, configure and resolve outages involving network components, provider networks, routers switches and business applications. Perform enterprise administration of DNS/DHCP and well known services applications.

Communications Specialist (E-4), United States Army, Ft. Lewis, WA Jan 1991-Feb 1997• LAN/WAN systems design installation and implementation services for Pacific theater of operations. Repeatedly fielded multi-protocol WANs combining commercial and military technologies; Microwave Communications, Encryption devices (Circuit and Protocol), Fiber Optic Technologies, and various commercial Operating Systems to include Novell, Microsoft and UNIX systems.• Provided consulting and developed IT to Active Duty units within the Pacific Theater of Operations. Managed and prioritized both approved un-funded purchase request orders in excess of 3.5 million dollars.
