I took the lead in designing a high-power rocket with the capability to accommodate a payload and achieve an altitude of 4,200 feet. This involved the manufacturing of carbon fiber nosecones, fins, and plates using composite laying techniques. Furthermore, I conducted investigations using CFD models in Star-CCM+ to characterize the vehicle's drag and other aerodynamic properties.Throughout this project, I had the opportunity to present to a NASA panel during the Preliminary Design, Critical Design, and Flight Readiness review stages. In addition to the design phase, I was responsible for testing critical separation and recovery events, as well as the structural components of the rocket to ensure smooth operation.As part of my contributions, I initiated 14 demonstration and certification launches for both the USLI team and the rocketry club. I managed the coordination of subsystems, including the vehicle, payload, and administration, ensuring a unified and efficient design.Leading weekly team meetings, I facilitated the seamless integration of subsystems and maintained effective communication within the team. Additionally, I initiated a year-long rocket design project within the rocketry club, with the goal of promoting the development of aerospace-related skills among its members.

I also put forward a proposal for a $1,500 grant to the Student Government Association, which was intended to kickstart 11 rocket launches and assembly projects.
