Over the course of my 30+ year career in the IT sector, I've proven myself as a key contributor with a diverse skill set focused on identifying and resolving server vulnerabilities and weaknesses. I've developed and implemented numerous network infrastructures to optimize security while maintaining data integrity, and I have a strong track record of designing internal policies that promote a secure network environment in strict compliance with all of established security standards and industry best practices. In addition, I've performed many internal audits that have proactively identified and resolved vulnerabilities, and have provided key technical support to cross-functional teams in order to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.I have been working or exposed to some form of IT related function since the introduction of the TRS-80 back in 1980. I have experience with radio and telecommunications in addition to information technology. I enjoy network design and network security, and I even like something simple like pulling cable from time to time.I enjoy teaching, and am very thankful for the opportunity to work as an adjunct instructor for LFCC. A co-worker once told me that he gave away his knowledge for free, with the understanding that the recipient would turn around, take that same knowledge, and give it to someone else. Those words have stuck with me for over 25 years. Knowledge is like a fine wine. It gets better with age, and it is best when shared. I have a strong public safety background, having experience with fire, EMS, and law enforcement operations.
