My duties of this position include:- Leading a team of over 350 dedicated volunteers in executing various missions, including emergency services, aerospace education, and cadet programs, coordinating efforts equivalent to over $3.3 million in hourly wages in the past year.- Managing and maintaining a fleet of 6 aircraft and 15 ground vehicles, ensuring operational readiness and efficiency for missions.- Overseeing an annual budget of $100,000, highlighting the financial management skills necessary to operate a wing of this size.- Fostering a culture of respect, excellence, integrity, and service, driving volunteer engagement and operational effectiveness.

My role as Compliance Manager with SumTotal was transitioned to the role of Senior Controls and Compliance Analyst with Cornerstone when SumTotal was acquired by Cornerstone. There was no direct fit for me in Cornerstone, so I was laid off after the acquisition. My job duties included: - Managing the compliance program for the SumTotal Cloud Operations Team. - Developing, maintaining, and implementing information security policies in alignment with the compliance programs followed by SumTotal, and using the Secure Controls Framework as a guideline. - Ensuring all compliance processes and operations are performed in a timely and efficient manner. - Managing annual SOC 1, SOC 2, PCI, and TISAX (3 yr) audits. - Working as part of the Cornerstone FedRAMP team to procure artifacts and carry out the annual FedRAMP audit. - Developing gap analyses for new audit frameworks such as CSA-STAR, ISO 27002, and NIST 800-171 compliance programs. - Transitioned SumTotal from audit management by spreadsheets to a dedicated GRC platform, enabling the company to better track both compliance and risk initiatives.
